Nikki has been drawing and painting realistic portraits since elementary school years. She has artwork in several areas of the U.S., as well as in other countries. Working from photograhic references, Nikki creates her portraits in a variety of media, including mixed. Proceeds from artwork have helped Nikki help rescued cats with her own Project C.A.T.S.
Although I prefer to meet my subjects, I know how difficult this can be, so I work primarily from photo references supplied by my clients.
If, however, someone chooses to sit for a portrait, a consultation can be arranged to discuss the possibilities.
During a consultation meeting (in person or via telephone), decisions are made concerning size and orientation of finished art. Ideas are explored and discussed, as well as media in which art can be executed and pricing of the various styles. A non-refundable twenty-five percent deposit is paid at the time the portrait is ordered.
Approximate dates are scheduled for a second consultation to discuss rough sketches and final delivery of the portrait. Balance of quote is paid upon delivery. Complete satisfaction is guaranteed!
If a client possesses no photo of the subject, a portrait can be executed through customization from stock photos, as well as from in-depth consultation. There is no limit to what the imagination can dream up if we set our spirits free, --- and if you can dream it, I can paint it!
